The Park County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about a phone scam.
Residents are reporting calls where someone posing as a sheriff’s deputy claims that there is a warrant out for your arrest and that you owe money and must pay to avoid arrest.
This is a scam. Do not provide financial information over the phone.
