Meet Doodle! He’s the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pet of the Week!

Doodle is a 12-year-old male Domestic shorthair mix who was brought in as a found stray in Salida in May of this year. He has an incredibly sweet and calm demeanor that could win over any visitor.

Unfortunately, Doodle is FIV positive so needs to go to a home without any other cats, or to a home with only other FIV positive cats. FIV, Feline immunodeficiency virus, is an autoimmune disorder which causes cats to have a harder time fighting off illnesses and may need more care if they do get sick. FIV cats can live a normal lifespan with proper care and love from their owners!
