Palace Hotel Converts to Condos

The Palace Hotel in Salida has decided to step down from the hospitality business and convert to condominiums.

Over the past nine years, our family has had the absolute pleasure of accommodating you and yours in the amazing historic Palace Hotel.

We are grateful that so many of you have chosen our family business as a place to make memories and celebrate special occasions or simply to do business and get away. Serving you has been an honor!

We have decided to step down from the hospitality business and implement our original plan for the Palace – to sell individual suites as condominiums.

With this decision, we have an exciting opportunity that we would like to offer you. Each suite in the hotel is a now available for purchase with pricing starting at $165,000. Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
