A significant winter storm looks to impact our area Wednesday through Saturday. With the current storm track, areas south of Highway 50 may receive heavy snow down to 4,000 feet.
Travel impacts will be possible during this time.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 41. A low of 21.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 39, a low of 17.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 31 with a low of 11.
Much colder air can be expected for the end of the week.
