A Flash Flood Watch is in effect. Thunderstorm coverage will increase today bringing the potential for locally heavy rain and localized flash flooding, especially for the Chalk Cliffs and Poncha Pass.
Another round of heavy rain producing thunderstorms will be possible again tomorrow into Wednesday as a cold front moves across the area.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 83. Look for an overnight low of 55.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 79, a low of 53.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 67 with a low of 41.
