Have you ever seen a dog with a resting sad face? Even though 5 year-old Winnie is very happy and sweet, she often has a soft, forlorn look. Her big puppy dog eyes combined with her loving personality, has made Winnie a fan favorite at Ark-Valley Humane Society. You’ll often see her behind the front desk at the shelter getting treats and pets from anyone that walks in. Winnie is currently in a foster home, but you can apply for her online or set up an appointment to meet her by calling the shelter (719-395-2737).
Needs: Ark Valley Humane Society’s supply of wet dog food is running LOW and they currently have 15 dogs in their care. Any amount/brand of food helps.
They can accept donations dropped off or mailed to our location (701 Gregg Drive in Buena Vista) or donate on their website ark-valley.org and put “dog wet food” as your reason for your gift.
