Help Ark-Valley Humane Society find 11 year-old Obie a loving home. Obie arrived at the shelter after his owner sadly passed away. Obie received a shave as his fur was quite matted. He now has a heating pad that he loves to curl up with. If you visit the shelter, you may not see Obie as he can be timid and likes to spend time in the more private area of his kennel. AVHS needs your help to find an adopter who will be patient and caring to help this sweet, shy cat warm up. Since Obie is a senior cat, his adoption fees are waived as finding him a loving home is priceless!
Events: Volunteers have been helping Obie become more comfortable with people at the shelter. Ark-Valley Humane Society is so thankful to the wonderful network of volunteers who make their life saving efforts possible. On April 26th, AVHS will be hosting a volunteer appreciation party to show their gratitude for all of the amazing work that the volunteers do. From animal care & enrichment to the less glamorous operational tasks, volunteers are an integral part of keeping the shelter going.
