Recently at Ark-Valley Humane Society, it seems like there have been a few dogs that have been at the shelter for awhile and keep getting overlooked. AVHS does not euthanize for time or space, but these pups would love to be adopted into a loving home of their own.
One pup is 6 year-old Kida. AVHS is so thankful that Kida has had the opportunity to spend a lot of time in a wonderful foster home. Her foster family have said she is, “such an easy and lovely houseguest.” They say that she loves playing fetch, going on hikes, and going full couch potato-mode. They said she is quiet and is fine with being left alone. There was even a party at the house and Kida was so happy to meet everyone! Kida is a smaller pup with a big heart! The hope is that if she is Pet of the Week, it will help her find the loving home she deserves.
Events: Ark-Valley Humane Society has a Pet Food Pantry to help provide food to owned pets in need in the community. The pantry supply is currently very low. If you are interested in making an in-kind food donation, AVHS is able to take any brand of food, even if the bag has been opened. The food must be in its original container and not expired. Thank you for helping keep pets fed!
