It can be very hard for people to see just how loving Indie is because she is very shy around new people. To help her build her confidence, 1 year-old Indie was placed into a wonderful foster home. Her foster has been working with Indie to help her feel supported and comfortable. It is amazing to see Indie with her foster because it’s like a completely different dog! Indie will do best in a home that is understanding of her shyness and will be patient as she warms up. It will be worth the wait as she is so sweet!

Good Pet/Bad Portrait (February 10th-23rd): We’re thrilled to be hosting our 6th annual Good Pet/Bad Portrait fundraiser! How it works: You pay a small entry fee and submit a photo of your pet. We send it off to one of our amazing volunteer artists (ranging in age from 5 and up!) and they create a masterpiece, or a comical doodle that will hopefully bring a smile to your face, and send it to you when it is done!
All proceeds benefit the animals of Ark-Valley Humane Society!
