Mason Jumps into the Chaffee County Commissioner District 1 Race

The race for Chaffee County Commissioner District 1 is now a three-way race. 

The Chaffee County Clerk’s Office has announced that Beth Mason has submitted the required number of signatures to appear on the November General Election ballot. 

Mason submitted 329 valid signatures, needing only 272. 

Mason will run as an unaffiliated candidate to replace term limited Keith Baker on the Chaffee County Board of Commissioners. 

Democrat Gina Lucrezi and Republican Norm Nyberg are also seeking the seat.
