The Saguache County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 45-year-old man in connection to a homicide yesterday morning. 

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is saying that Saguache County deputies responded to home in Saguache just before 4:30 am for a report of an injured man. 

A Salida man in his 50’s was discovered, and eventually died from his injuries. 

Authorities are searching for Donald Garcia in connection to the homicide.

He is described as being 5’5”-5’8”, about 140 pounds with long black hair, last seen wearing a black hoodie, black beanie, blue jeans and black shoes.

Garcia is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who sees him should avoid contact and call 911. 

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office at 719-655-2544. 

The victim’s name is being withheld until the family can be notified. 

Garcia was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black beanie, blue jeans, and black shoes. He is 5’5″ – 5′”8, approximately 140 lbs with a mustache, goatee and long black hair. Unknown if the party has a vehicle. He may be on foot and hitchhiking. Garcia is to be considered armed and dangerous.
