Are you enthusiastic about helping shape the future of your electric cooperative? Do you have strong leadership skills and a vision for making a difference in the community? If so, Sangre de Cristo Electric Association (SDCEA) invites qualified applicants to apply for a vacancy appointment to an At-Large seat on our board of directors. Due to the resignation of a board member, this is a position that is separate from the election of board officers directors in June.

Why Join the SDCEA Board?

· Be a part of local governance and influence the direction of a member-owned cooperative.

· Contribute your business skills, leadership insights, and ideas to benefit your community.

About the Role

The appointment will be made to fill a vacant At-Large representative director seat following Jeff Fiedler’s resignation on January 30. Fiedler has accepted a new position at the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. The appointment will be until the end of Fiedler’s term in June 2026, at which time the appointee may run for another term on the board if they wish to do so. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role and help direct the cooperative’s initiatives, ensuring reliable and efficient service to our community.
