Colorado Mountain College is excited to announce an initiative with Initium Health to explore the feasibility of new health care education programs at CMC’s Salida campus. This study focuses on the potential introduction of a nursing program alongside other health care pathways and will provide strategic insights into meeting the educational and health care service needs of the Salida community and surrounding areas.
The project will be conducted in three phases, beginning with framework development and comprehensive data collection. The subsequent phases will involve an in-depth landscape analysis, community engagement and the development of strategic insights that culminate in actionable recommendations for CMC Salida. Throughout this process, Initium Health will engage with local health care providers, educational institutions and community stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of local needs and opportunities.
