Homicide charges have been filed in Park County against Johnny Morris and Hailey Cole, two persons of interest connected to a Colorado death investigation and a missing persons case.
The charges, revealed in Colorado court records yesterday, include bond amounts of $5,000,000 each. Morris and Cole are currently in custody in Mississippi, where they were arrested last week on unrelated charges.
The pair became the focus of a nationwide search last week after being identified as persons of interest in two Colorado cases:
- El Paso County Missing Persons Case: Stephen Walker, 37, was reported missing under suspicious circumstances following a December 16th incident at a sober living home. Despite an extensive search, Walker remains missing.
- Park County Death Investigation: Tim Huston, 65, was found dead on Christmas Eve at his home near Hartsel on Campfire Road.
Authorities have not yet disclosed additional details about the charges or how they are connected to the two cases. Investigations remain ongoing.
