We are looking for a passionate and driven Advertising Account Executive to join our team and help businesses in the region grow through effective radio advertising and digital marketing tools.

Position Overview
As an Advertising Account Executive, you will be a core member of our small but mighty team, playing a key role in driving revenue growth for Heart of the Rockies Radio Group clients by building strong, trust-based relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and government partners. You will be responsible for identifying new clients, nurturing and growing existing relationships, and
creating advertising strategies that meet the unique needs of each advertiser. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a creative, innovative, fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our local business community.

Key Responsibilities
● Developandmaintainrelationships with local businesses and
advertisers.
● Identify new advertising opportunities and secure new accounts.
● Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing goals and
develop customized radio advertising and digital marketing campaigns.
● Presentadvertising proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
● Meetandexceedmonthlyandquarterlysales targets.
● Workclosely with the station’s programming and production teams to
ensure ads are delivered effectively and meet client expectations.
● Stayup-to-date on industry trends and local market conditions.
● Attendcommunityeventsandrepresent the station in a professional
and positive manner.

Qualifications

– Proven experience in sales, advertising, or a related field (especially radio, podcasting, social media, email marketing) experience is required.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

– Ability to understand client needs and provide creative marketing solutions.

– Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with limited oversight.

– Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

– Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.

– Familiarity with the business community in Salida and surrounding regions is a plus

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
