Heart of The Rockies Regional Medical Center has instituted new precautions to deal with the possibility of the coronavirus showing up in the Upper Arkansas Valley.
The hospital has implemented a vehicle-screening procedure for those with respiratory symptoms who arrive at any of HRRMC’s locations, where you can call each location directly, and a designated person will conduct an initial medical screening at your vehicle to determine next steps.
During business hours, please contact Public Health for a phone medical screening to determine if you meet criteria to be tested: 719-539-4510
During after hours/non-business hours, please contact CO HELP at 1-877-462-2911.
Also, the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center has some visitor restrictions in place: Only one symptom free visitor or family member per patient allowed in the Oncology/Infusion Center, as well as the Family Birthing Center. Further restrictions may be necessary in the future.
