- Giant Lighted Heart Drop:
- Dropped from over 50 feet in the air via the Salida Fire Department’s ladder truck.
- First Drop: 9 PM for families and early celebrants.
- Second Drop: Midnight for the traditional countdown.
- Live Entertainment:
- DJ spinning dance and holiday tunes from 7:30 PM to Midnight.
- Performances by the Salida Starlettes.
- Dan R as the Master of Ceremonies.
- Family-Friendly Fun:
- Warming stations and places to grab hot beverages and food.
- Downtown businesses staying open late.
