On Friday, Governor Jared Polis, along with the Colorado Department of Corrections and local leaders, announced the development of new workforce housing units in Buena Vista. The project features 12 fully furnished two- and three-bedroom units, providing much-needed housing for correctional professionals in the area.
This initiative is a result of a collaborative effort between Fading West and the Colorado Department of Corrections, aimed at addressing the critical need for accessible housing in Buena Vista. The new units are expected to help attract and retain correctional staff, contributing to the overall well-being and stability of the community.
