Starting today, Oak Street in Salida will be fully closed for construction.
Construction Details:
- Location: Oak Street between Walnut and Illinois Avenue
- Purpose: To provide a safe route along Oak Street for all transportation methods
- Improvements Include:
- New sewer line
- Installation of bike lanes on either side of Oak
- Crosswalks
- Curb, gutter, and sidewalk installation
After a winter break, the final phase of this project is expected to be completed next summer.
