The Friends of Monarch Ski Patrol Appreciation Day will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Monarch Ski Area.
The day will feature:
- Touch-a-truck exhibit
- Toboggan rides
- Mirkey Turkey Uphill Race
- Live music by Running with Scissors
- Avalanche explosives demonstration
- Additional family-friendly activities
Events are free, but a season pass or lift ticket is required to access the toboggan rides and participate in the Mirkey Turkey Race.
The annual Monarch Ski Patrol party and fundraiser will follow at High Side Bar and Grill in Salida, starting at 6:30 p.m.
