Accumulating snow will be possible over and near the mountains through Monday with the heaviest snowfall along the Divide.  

The mountains could see 18 inches of new snow through Sunday. The best chance for snow in the lower elevations is Saturday when 4 to 5 inches could fall.   

Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 45 today. Look for an overnight low of 25.            

The San Luis Valley will see a high of 39, a low of 19.                      

Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 31 with a low of 13.

Very cold temperatures look likely for the weekend. The valleys will see highs in the low 20’s by Sunday, teens for the higher elevations.
