Multiple snow producing systems will move across the area starting tonight.

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 51. A low of 21.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 41, a low of 17.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 37 with a low of 15.

The National Weather Service is tracking multiple storm systems that will move across the area tonight through Christmas Day Monday. The storms will bring much cooler temperatures and the possibility of up to a foot of new snow in the mountains and a wintry mix of rain and snow in the lower terrain.

Snow, blowing snow, and slick roads will make travel hazardous over area mountain passes. If you’re planning on travelling this weekend for Christmas, check cotrip.org for the latest road conditions.
