Fremont County is set to receive about $9.3 million in American Rescue Act funding and county officials want to know how residents think that money should be spent.

The money is being given to Fremont County in order to respond to the economic devastation brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Residents are being asked to submit their input on the county’s public input page on their website, fremontco.com.

There are five primary ways that the county may invest the funds:

Support public health response, address negative economic impacts, replace public sector revenue loss, premium pay for essential workers, and water, sewer and broadband infrastructure.
