Fremont County is continuing to recover from a recent cyberattack and continues to assess any loss of information from the incident.   

It has been determined that the accounting records of the cash payments made on Tuesday, August 16th, cannot be retrieved. If you made a cash payment to the Fremont County Treasurer’s Office on Tuesday, August 16th, please bring in a copy of your receipt to ensure you charges are accounted for properly.

Fremont County officials have determined that the cyberattack that impacted county systems was the result of BlackCat ransomware. Fremont County incident response efforts remain in full effect and significant progress has been made.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
