The Ark Aces and Dandy Lions are representing Salida and the United States at the World Championship in China this August. But they need your help to get there.

Join US Rafting Association Women’s Masters and U19 Division Raft Racing Team, the Ark Aces and the Dandy Lions, at Soulcraft for a Valentine’s Day Bash: For the Love of Rafting!

The event is a fundraiser to support the National Champions’ trip to Ziyuan, China in August, 2020 for the International Rafting Federation’s World  Rafting Championships.

The event kicks off at 5 pm, Roundhouse Assembly will provide music from 7 to 9 pm, Ark Aces gear will be available for purchase, there will be door prizes, and the Salida Starlettes will perform.

About the Ark Aces and Dandy Lions

Through the sport of rafting, the teams’ mission is to inspire and empower women of all ages by demonstrating physical and mental strength while building our local community of rafting, river play, and river stewardship. Participation as a Master’s Division team requires that all participants are over 40 years old.

Ark Aces team members include team captain Samantha Barron, Cari Beasley, Chris Smejkal, Julie Sutton, Dominique Naccarato, and Samantha Bahn.

Participation on the U19 team requires participants are under 19 years old. Dandy Lions team members include Lori Cassidy, Jade Barron, Jaime Sanchez and Claire Carlson.
