A Flash Flood Watch is in effect. Thunderstorms are likely this weekend. Flash flooding will be possible, especially across the Chalk Cliffs area and over area burn scars.
With Flash Flooding a real possibility this weekend, be ready for road closures. The Colorado Department of Transportation continues to place safety closures on I-70 through Glenwood Canyon from Dotsero to Rifle.
CDOT crews have been responding to multiple large mudslides on I-70 due to heavy rain on the Grizzly Creek burn area.
