Face Masks Cause Controversy

Cloth face coverings continue to cause controversy, confusion, and unfortunately in some places violence.

Chaffee County Public Health is recommending the use of cloth face coverings as a public health intervention to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Public Health says asymptomatic people account for 40 percent of COVID-19 cases.  Just staying home when you are sick is not enough.  If you are asymptomatic, you could spread COVID-19 without knowing it—unless you wear a face mask indoors.
