Congratulations to Salidan Nathan Ward for winning an Emmy for his film “The Rider and the Wolf.”
The film is about Mike Rust and his role in popularizing the sport of mountain biking.
Ward posted a picture of the Emmy award on his Facebook page and said, “We received this nice golden statue in the mail last week for the final version of The Rider and The Wolf which aired on Rocky Mountain PBS in 2020. This project was a long time in the cooker. Years. Huge thanks to everyone who helped us make this film, especially Carlin Walsh, Claude DeMoss, Lyman Smith, Carl Rust, Marty Rust, Paul Rust, Annie Rust-Crandall and their families. There are too many of you to list here.”
