Tomorrow is Election Day, and Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell reports that 10,288 residents have already cast their ballots in the General Election.

For those still planning to vote, in-person voting is available today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Salida Voter Center (235 West 10th Street) and the Buena Vista Voter Center (Community Center). Both locations will be open tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, a vote center will open tomorrow at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds.

Mail ballots can be dropped off at any time at the curbside boxes located at the Chaffee County Courthouse in Salida and the Buena Vista Motor Vehicle Office. All ballots must be received by 7 p.m. tomorrow. Please drop off your ballot in person, as postmarks do not count.
