In the Primary Election, Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell is reporting that 2,337 ballots have been returned. Of those, 832 were Democrats, 689 from Republicans and 816 were Unaffiliated.

The Scout Hut Vote Center is now open Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, Saturday 8am to 12noon, and Election Day 7am to 7pm.

A vote center at the community Center in Buena Vista will open next Monday from 10am to 4pm and Election Day 7am to 7pm.

Voters who still will to receive a ballot in the mail need to take action before midnight tonight. Starting tomorrow, voters will have to appear in person to get a ballot. Voters can update their registration at GoVoteColorado.gov.

Today is also the last day you should use the mail to return your ballot. After today it is advised that you drop off your ballot in-person.
