Obituary for Donald Ray Kerr Donald Ray Kerr, born on December 31, 1960, in Albion, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, pampa, and friend, who touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity. He lived a life filled with passion, adventure, and unwavering love for his family.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Kerr and Ruth Howard, as well as his two sisters, Carolyn “Jeanie” Herman and Judy Kerr, and his brother, Leslie “Beau” Kerr. He is survived by his loving wife, Del, who was not only his partner but his best friend. They met in Cuba, New Mexico, during the late 1970s, and their bond flourished, leading to their marriage on July 3, 1981. They briefly lived in Como and Fairplay before settling in Buena Vista, Colorado. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.

Don is also survived by his son Les, daughter Monica, and his beloved grandchildren, Balty and Sienna. Don was an adventurer at heart, finding joy in riding his Harley and four-wheeler, as well as camping in the mountains where he created lasting memories with family and friends. When he wasn’t doing that, he could be found tinkering around in his shop working on various projects for friends and family. His passion for life and the simple pleasures it offered made him a dear friend to those fortunate enough to know him.

A funeral service to honor Donald’s life will be held on March 22, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clearview Community Church, located at 457 Rodeo Road, Buena Vista, Colorado 81211. A reception will follow the services, providing an opportunity for friends and family to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
