Join The Diabetes Prevention and Cancer Walk at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s Wellness U will offer free Diabetes Prevention classes starting August 27th.

Classes will take place on Tuesdays at the HRRMC Outpatient Pavilion.

The classes will introduce those who are prediabetic or at risk of developing diabetes to healthy habits needed for preventing or delaying the onset of Type 2 diabetes.

To register, go to hrrmc.com/events and enter National Diabetes in the events search section or call 530-2057.

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is also gearing up for their annual Cancer Walk.

The second annual Cancer Walk will take place September 14th.

The walk will start and end on the HRRMC campus using walking trials that circle the hospital, about 1.5 miles.

All money raised by the walk will benefit the HRRMC Oncology Fund.

To sign up your team, visit hrrmc.com and click on the Cancer Walk button.
