Custer County Schools is looking for volunteers who can help prepare them for multiple back-to-school scenarios for the upcoming school year.
Custer County students are set to start school on August 19 and the administration is looking to cover any situation of learning, such as in-person, remote, or a hybrid of both. They are looking for help with IT requirements, carpentry, masks and substitute teachers.
With IT requirements, they are seeking help with the reset and provision of 400 Chromebooks.
Carpentry work will consist of constructing plexiglass separations for tables and desks.
The school is also looking for cloth masks to supplement their purchased products.
Substitute teachers can apply on the Custer County Schools website.
