Colorado Parks and Wildlife executed three search warrants this week as part of a criminal investigation into a poaching ring.

Two search warrants were executed at homes in Colorado Springs and one was executed in Fremont County. Three arrests were made.

CPW said the three men who were arrested are 64-year-old David Schlitt, 36-year-old Robert Schlitt, and 33-year-old Richard Schlitt. All were arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges of willful destruction of elk and bear, failure to prepare game meat for human consumption, hunting without a proper and valid license, and other related charges.

CPW said a vehicle, firearms, and wildlife parts were seized as evidence during their investigation.
