As of publication date, current vaccination phases include:
● Phase 1A – Highest-risk healthcare workers & individuals
● Phase 1B.1 – Ages 70+, moderate-risk healthcare workers, and first responders
● Phase 1B.2 – Ages 65-69; PK-12 educators and licensed childcare workers
Estimated to open around March 5th:
● Phase 1B.3 – Frontline essential workers; ages 16-64 with 2 or more high risk comorbidities
As of February 17th, vaccinations administered in Chaffee County include:
● Chaffee County Public Health vaccination totals:
○ 4,829 total doses have been administered by CCPH, including:
■ 1,702 people have received both doses and are considered fully vaccinated
■ 1,425 people have received only the first dose

○ 2,695 total doses have been administered by HRRMC, including:
■ 480 people have received both doses and are considered fully vaccinated

Covid-19 testing continues in Chaffee County.
For those looking to receive a Covid-19 test in the north end of the county, Valley-Wide Health Systems is offering testing Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Valley-Wide will bill your health insurance. However, if you are uninsured, the test is free.
To register for a test in BV through Valley-Wide, call 719-395-8610, and choose the option to speak with a nurse.
Testing in Salida remains Monday through Thursday at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds. Appointments for testing in Salida are now being make online. Make an appointment the day before testing is held by going to curative.com.
