A corrections officer is accused of trying to smuggle a drug filled burrito into the Buena Vista Correctional Facility.
Investigators acting on a tip from a prisoner approached Trevor Martineau when he arrived at work on July 2.
According to court records, Martineau acknowledged having contraband in his lunchbox, and a search turned up a burrito stuffed with a variety of drugs including methamphetamine and heroin.
Martineau said he was paid $1,000 to smuggle the drugs in the BV prison.
He is being held in Chaffee County jail on several felony drug charges.
