Columbine Gem and Mineral Society presents: How to Identify Minerals – A FREE interactive workshop.

Join the Columbine Gem and Mineral Society for a FREE interactive workshop on Thursday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the Upstairs Conference Room at the Buena Vista Airport (27960 County Rd. 319, Buena Vista).

Cindy Peratt from therockdoc.net will lead this hands-on session, teaching participants how to identify minerals using tools like identification books and characteristics such as hardness, color, streak, luster, and crystal form.

The event will also feature a huge mineral and rock giveaway—so not only will you learn, but you’ll also take home some treasures!
