Since January 3rd, Colorado’s snowpack has decreased from 98% to 88% due to dry conditions in the southwestern regions:
- Gunnison, Upper Rio Grande, San Juan, and Arkansas basins have seen little snow since late December.
Two storms are expected this week:
- First storm: To impact northern mountains.
- Second storm: Expected to bring much-needed snowfall to the Four Corners region later in the week.
