If you think closing time comes too early at your favorite bar, you might be in luck.

A new bill in the Colorado Legislature would let bars push back their closing times from 2 am to 4 am.

The bill is called the Alcohol Beverages Extended Service Hours Permit and would allow businesses with on-permit liquor licensing to sell alcohol between the hours of 7 am to 4 am.

The bill is currently in the Business Affairs and Labor Committee.

The bill may not affect all parts of Colorado equally, however, as local jurisdictions might not allow the extended hours.
