With traffic fatalities up 12 percent over this time last year, the Colorado Department of Transportation and Colorado State Patrol are partnering with local law enforcement for the largest seat belt enforcement campaign of the year.
The Click It or Ticket campaign will run Monday, May 24 to June 6.
The enforcement period encourages people to buckle up to avoid citation but, more importantly, get home safely to their loved ones.
