The City of Salida will begin improvements on Oak Street between Walnut and Illinois Avenue today. Due to the construction, Oak Street will be closed to through traffic.
This comprehensive improvement project is expected to take an extended period, with work pausing for a winter break and resuming in spring. The project is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2025.
