Chaffee Rec Adopters is calling for volunteers to assist with their final stewardship event of the season this Saturday in celebration of National Public Lands Day. The project focuses on campsite cleanup along the Arkansas River at the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area site, known as Woody’s near Wellsville.
Volunteers will help build buck-n-rail fencing and revegetate areas that have been overused. The event runs from 9:00 AM to Noon.
