Chaffee Rec Adopters is excited to announce two upcoming events aimed at improving our cherished public lands. These events provide an excellent opportunity for volunteers to contribute to the betterment of local trails and camping areas.
The first event is organized in collaboration with the Buena Vista Singletrack Coalition and will take place next Wednesday, July 17, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Volunteers will focus on trail maintenance, trailhead improvements, and managing dispersed camping areas around the Midland Trailhead and County Road 304.
The second event is scheduled for Friday, July 26, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the Shavano camping area on County Road 250. Volunteers will assist in installing wooden posts to designate additional campsites on Bureau of Land Management lands.
