Chaffee County Public Health is planning several mass Covid-19 booster clinics at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds. The booster is free and is available for those who have received the Pfizer vaccine.

Clinics are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, October 4th and 5th and again on October 18th and 19th.

The Pfizer booster clinics are by appointment only. Make your appointment at chaffeecounty.rsvpify.com.

There are multiple Pfizer booster providers throughout the county. The public is asked to check out the vaccine provider list on Chaffee County’s Covid-19 website for a list of locations administering booster shots.

At this time, there is not a booster approved or available for those who received Moderna or Johnson and Johnson. However, all three vaccines are still providing significant protection and immunity from Covid-19.

Chaffee County Public Health is sponsoring the first of two flu immunization clinics tomorrow at Sangre de Cristo Electric in Buena Vista.

The drive-through clinic will take place from 3 to 5 pm and while registration is not required, it is suggested for planning purposes. Online registration can be found at chaffeecounty.org/public-health.

This clinic is open to all residents 12 and over.

The second flu vaccination clinic will be held at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds on October 22nd.
