Friends of Chaffee County Fire Protection District are currently holding a fundraiser to purchase a Polaris Ranger UTV equipped with firefighting and emergency response capabilities for the Chaffee County Fire Protection District.
The unit would provide enhanced capability and speed for fire, accident and emergency response to the more remote backcountry areas of the 1000 square miles of the fire district.
