The Chaffee County League of Women Voters will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 4, at the Methodist Church, located at 228 4th Street in Salida. From noon to 1:00 p.m., the meeting will feature a panel discussion on the challenges faced by immigrants in Chaffee County.
The panel will include experts from:
- Chaffee County Public Health
- Chaffee County Department of Human Services
- Colorado Mountain College
These representatives will share insights on the barriers immigrants face, including access to healthcare, social services, and education. The discussion will also highlight local resources available to support immigrant families.
The event is free and open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversation.
