Chaffee County Department of Human Services Hosts Annual “Back to School Supply Drive”

The Chaffee County Department of Human Services (DHS) is once again hosting their annual “Back to School Supply Drive.” Last year, thanks to generous community donations, DHS was able to provide school supplies to 150 students in Salida and Buena Vista.

This year, they are seeking your help to ensure even more students are prepared for the new school year. There are several ways to contribute:

• Monetary Donations: Bring or mail your donation to Chaffee County DHS, 448 E 1st Street, Salida, CO.
• Supply Donations: Purchase school supplies and drop them off at designated boxes located at Walmart in Salida and the Arkansas Valley Mission in Buena Vista.
