Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell reports that 4,625 ballots have been cast in the General Election as of Thursday. This count is nearly 1,700 fewer than at the same point during the 2020 election.

Voters have several options for casting their ballots:

  • Salida Vote Center at 235 West 10th Street:
    • In-person voting: Open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 2; and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
  • Buena Vista Community Center at 715 E Main Street:
    • In-person voting: Begins on Thursday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ballot Drop-off Locations: Curbside ballot boxes are available 24/7 until 7 p.m. on Election Day, located at the Chaffee County Courthouse and Buena Vista Motor Vehicle Office.
