The Chaffee Common Ground Citizens Advisory Committee has opened their latest grant cycle.
$750,000 is available for programs and projects that strengthen forest health and reduce wildfire danger; conserve and support agriculture and rural landscapes; and manage the impacts of growth in outdoor recreation in Chaffee County. The pre-application deadline is February 16th and the deadline for full applications is March 22nd.
Awards will be announced in May for funding in June.
