The Colorado Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to plan on additional traffic over the next few weekends as people head out to see the fall colors.

You are being asked to find safe, designated parking areas and to be aware of pedestrians.  People will be out of their vehicles taking pictures.

Also, the Colorado State Patrol is joining forces with local enforcement agencies for the Fall Festivals DUI enforcement period running through October 25th. Expect a large police presence on area highways this weekend with saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints.
